Molly, 1944

Introduced to children in 1986, Molly McIntire and her stories represent the tail end of World War II. Her stories take place in the fictional town of Jefferson, Illinois in 1944. Renowned author Valerie Tripp wrote Molly’s stories. A movie about Molly was released in 2006 starring Maya Ritter. Molly and her entire collection were archived in 2013. She was re-released in 2018 and subsequently archived again in 2019. In 2022, Molly and a few of her original outfits and accessories were re-released.
