Changes for Molly

Molly and her friends are excited—they have the opportunity to try out for the Hurray for the U.S.A! show that their dance class is performing in. They all secretly want to get the lead part of Miss Victory, especially Molly. To their surprise, Molly is cast as Miss Victory due to her great tap dancing. But there is one problem: Miss Victory has curly hair and Molly has straight hair.

But when Molly finds out that Dad is coming home, and just in time for the show, she can hardly wait! This is her opportunity to show Dad how sophisticated and grown up she is since he left for the war. When her older sister, Jill, helps give Molly curls for the show—everything seems to be going perfect. But Molly gets sick. Could things get worse? Thankfully the doctor shows up just in time to help.
