Cécile and Marie-Grace Make a Difference

Marie-Grace and Cécile are very worried. The rumor of yellow fever is true and is ranging through the city of New Orleans. The disease has hit close to home, affecting Cécile’s older brother and the girl’s singing teacher, Mademoiselle Océane and the girls are unsure if they will recover.

When Marie-Grace finds out that the orphanage that she and Cécile volunteer at is becoming overcrowded, she is heartbroken. These children have lost their parents to this horrible disease. Soon they find out that her older brother is slowly recovering, but Mademoiselle Océane is still very sick.

The girls are determined to help and make a difference, but will this sickness cause the girls to lose the ones they love?
