“Back to School with American Girl” Reflection

One of the absolute highlights of Sunday’s “Back to School with American Girl” pop-up exhibit was welcoming my dear friend Valerie Tripp, along with her husband and close friends, who came to cheer on my very first in-person show.

Having Valerie—the brilliant author behind so many beloved American Girl stories (including five of the characters featured in the exhibit)—there in person was both surreal and incredibly special. Her support, and that of her wonderful crew, made the day even more memorable. ❤️

I am forever grateful for Valerie’s friendship, encouragement, and kindness.
