No Pleasant Company or American Girl event ever feels complete without seeing my good and dear friend, Connie Porter—the brilliant author of the Addy books. 💛 Every time I hear Connie talk about how she wrote Addy’s stories, I’m completely captivated. I could listen again and again—her words never lose their power. Thank you, Connie, for such a wonderful talk.

Reconnecting with her last weekend at “American Girlhood: A Window into History” at the Heinz History Center was such a highlight of the weekend. What an inspiring few days it’s been—full of storytelling, history, and so much heart.
