At the original American Girl Place in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, there were shows available at 150-seat theatres for an additional cost of $25. Shows included The American Girls Revue, Circle of Friends: An American Girl Musical and Bitty Bear’s Matinee: The Family Tree. Sadly, the theaters were closed and removed in 2008.

In 2007, a live-action play based on Addy Walker premiered in Seattle, Washington and eventually toured the country (American Girls Wiki, 2024).
