Courtney and the Arcade

Courtney loves everything sci-fi, from playing video games at Smiley’s Arcade to watching movies with her step-dad, she loves it all. She especially loves the movies, The Goonies and the space opera, Star Wars. When she finds out that a school teacher is going into space for the first time on the Space Shuttle Challenger, she is excited to see history in the making. 

Courtney is ready for the best adventure ever—just like her video game hero she created, Crystal Starshooter. She often daydreams about Crystal’s world and what it would look like, but Crystal is everything that she hopes for in a female superhero and role model—brave, bold and doesn’t back down from doing what’s right!
