As summer continues, Caroline receives a letter from her uncle and aunt—to come and help on their new farm. Although sad to leave her family, Caroline is excited to see her cousin Lydia and her farm animals. Caroline is determined to help her extended family and their farm no matter what.

When Caroline discovers a thief around the farm, she learns things are not as simple as they seem. What can she do to help? As her time at the farm draws to a close, Caroline returns home to an Independence Day celebration and a special surprise.
