Caroline’s Battle

Caroline can’t believe it, Papa has returned home! But that’s not the only news—British warships are headed straight to Sackets Harbor to attack and all the men in the village must fight. That includes Papa who just returned home.

Caroline and Mama are left to defend and guard the shipyard from the British. The one place that Caroline loves just as much as sailing with her Papa. She will do anything to protect it. But when things don’t look well, Mama decides there is only one thing to do. They must burn the shipyard to the ground in order to keep it away from the British.

Caroline isn’t sure she can do it, but is she willing to do it to protect her village and her family from the British?
